Since the early 17th Century, people have travelled to Malvern for its healing waters.

These retreats will give you the opportunity to step back from the busyness of daily life, spending the day gaining a deeper experience of meditation.

Usually, in this busy modern world, even if we try to practice meditation, it may be something that we squeeze into our life as a way to recover from stress.

Engaging in a Silent Meditation Retreat for the entire day allows us to prioritise meditation, leaving a deep impression in our mind of its healing power. Consequently, we will then benefit for many days and weeks after the retreat.

We allow the retreat to empower our daily practice, which will benefit not only our future self but all those in our community and world

So we continue a tradition going back over 400 years, journeying to Malvern for healing, where the pure waters and Silent Meditation await.

Really enjoyed the day – much food for thought, starting with the easy steps of being grateful for the sliver of perfect blue sky I can see from my office window today!

Gill Gore - Retreat Attendee

“Really enjoyed the retreat. Being silent added something extra for me too as I was aware of my judgements as people entered. I was aware of my fears at the start of the day and the urges and thought through the day. By the end of the day I was able to let go of all that my mind and body were producing and find that still point. That will serve me well in the outer world and I’m keen to carry on learning.”
Great day. Very insightful.  Claire Parker

Lynda - Retreat Attendee

Having thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from both the beginners and mindspace+ courses with Adam, I was very much looking forward to experiencing a silent retreat.  It was both a joy and a challenge.

I found it liberating to be silent, not feeling the pressure to fill the void.

The retreat location was perfect, hidden amongst the trees and filled with the sounds of nature.

The challenge came in trying to keep the ever busy mind from wandering, some days it comes more easily than others.

At the end of the day I felt as though I had been hit with a furry sledge hammer, shattered but deeply peaceful.  I continue in my quest to develop a daily meditation habit, because I know that it brings a soothing and healing force in to my life to share with others.

Adam is a truly inspirational teacher, who never fails to make me laugh and I very much look forward to experiencing another retreat in the near future and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Lisa - Retreat Attendee
