Dear friends,
I hope that you’re well and had a nice Easter break, enjoying the lighter and slightly warmer days!
I wanted to let you know about the new livestream retreat starting this Sunday, which will be held on the second Sunday of each month for the next seven months from 10am–12pm.
In the Footsteps of the Great Masters – book here
This format of online retreat has been offered over the last three years and has proven to be an effective method to gain a deeper experience of a meaningful theme over a significant time. Having the monthly session on a Sunday gives us the chance to spend time reflecting and enjoying a deeper experience of Meditation. You then have the chance during the rest of the month to contemplate in a relaxed and expansive way the subject matter.
The theme for this seven-month retreat is ‘In the Footsteps of the Great Masters’. I believe this is the first time a course such as this has ever been offered, and it has taken careful reflection and planning to create an inspiring series of retreat sessions.
This seven-month retreat will explore some of the inspirational lives of the great meditation masters and their enlightened activities; however, this is not just going to be an interesting, intellectual, historical exercise. Along with looking at their lives and also their teachers and/or disciples, we’ll take an essential meditation practice each month which they emphasised and gain some practical experience.
This is where the magic happens, so this will not just be a dry walk around a museum of meditators; this will be an opportunity for you to learn how to transcend the challenges of modern life by integrating these timeless meditations into your life.

New Mindspace+ in-person series starting at the beginning of May
In all usual locations across the West Midlands and live-streamed, we have the chance to follow the new course, Medicine for the Mind, an eight-week series taking us into the summer months where we can enjoy the healing power of meditation. As usual, this course will also include recordings for those unable to attend every week and a half-day retreat in the middle of June in Sutton Coldfield.
International Retreats – book here
Following on from the last newsletter where I shared an update about the new international retreats for 2026 to Nepal and Thailand. This is proving to be a popular offering for late November and December, so if you’re wishing to come or have any questions, please get in touch to reserve your rooms as there are only a few spots left.
