Walking Meditation.

Combining our walking with the breathing
Initially, I recommend engaging with this training indoors, where there are fewer distractions. After you have gained some experience, take your practice outdoors. When I guide one-day retreats, I take practitioners into a forest, and we train in mindful walking within a clearing in the wood. When you first start to train in mindful walking, give yourself around five minutes and go very slowly, gradually increase the time and length that you practice.
