I hope that you’re well and are able to take care of your mind during these unusual times that we are all going through.
The new September term offers something for the complete beginner to those who are looking to deepen their experience.
The beginners’ eight-week course starts on Tuesday 15th September and will be following the eight essential mindful practices taken from the book Guide to the Mindful Way of Life. A practical course helping us to learn to live in the present moment, increase our focus and improve the quality of our relationships.
For those who are looking to take the next step, the Mindspace+ series starting on Wednesday 16th September for eight weeks will be looking at the theme, Find your Zen. This coincides with the release of the brand new pocketbook, Find your Zen, which you can pre-order to arrive at your home in time for the course.
Due to current venue restrictions, some not yet open, the September term will be delivered online via Zoom, this has worked well over the last two terms and I am confident that you can benefit and thrive with this method of delivery.
So we will be looking to the New Year for the potential opening of live classes. Although between now and then there will be some public events as and when is possible. The first being a weekend retreat in the Lake District between October 9th-11th where we explore the theme Meditations on Compassion.
Daily Meditations are currently being offered via the Mindspace website which can help us during this time to establish the habit of a lifetime and also mini-retreats where we can explore some of the themes that arise in the classes in more depth.
I am also offering more one-to-one sessions allowing individual practitioners who have some initial experience to gain insight into deeper meditation practices such as Tonglen training and selflessness teaching and meditation.
Please get in touch if you would like to know any more about these sessions or retreats.
Look forward to seeing you soon
With best wishes
