There is a very special, effective meditation to help us smile within.
We bring our attention to our breath. As we breathe in we allow a gentle smile to appear on our face. As we breathe out we allow ourself to let go of tension. This practice is sometimes known as ‘The Buddha Smile.’
Just take one minute and you can do this:
At work when we’re experiencing stress.
At home when we are relaxing.
When we are commuting.
Before we go into the doctors.
When we have a meeting or an exam.
With a little creativity you can start to integrate the practice throughout the day.
Remember to practice and you can start to gain an experience of mindfulness directly within your own life.
