In this tip we are looking at letting go of seeking results from our practice.
The most important element of a Meditation practice is familiarity.
Practice Meditation joyfully and create a rhythm in your life. Create a natural flow of peace in your life.
Whether results come or they don’t, it doesn’t matter.
We are sowing seeds for effects in the future.
If we plant a seed it doesn’t ripen immediately. Gradually we see results.
If we push & go looking for results this can be an obstacle to our Meditation practice.
With correct Meditation instructions if we practice regularly gradually we gain experience.
Practicing Meditation it’s not like turning on a TV. Be gentle with your practice.
Enjoy the process.
This quote by Steve Jobs describes the process perfectly:
If you try to calm it, it only makes it worse, but over time it does calm, and when it does, there’s room to hear more subtle things – that’s when your intuition starts to blossom and you start to see things more clearly and be in the present more. Your mind just slows down, and you see a tremendous expanse in the moment. You see so much more than you could see before.
It’s a discipline, you have to practice it.
