Mind Space’s function is to simply bring the practise of meditation into the mainstream.

Anxiety can be reduced by literally resting our mind on one object a simple neutral object that pacifies our mind.

Contentment is the real wealth that makes you feel rich inside – an inner resource that nourishes and feeds us -gets rid of the agitation.

When the mind is distracted its like a monkey moving up and down a tree eating fruit, playing with us and controling us moving us hither and thither  in search of contentment. Meditation puts an end to the monkey mind.

Q:  Does meditation increase your well being?

A:  Yes – an experience of well being arising from inner peace.

Q:  The meditation I will be learning here, is it anything like hypnosis?

A:  No – your in control.

Q:  Is Meditation like a therapy for the mind?

A:  Meditation has a therapeutic affect on your mind

Q:  Is the meditation at Mind Space religious?

A:  No ; the meditations here work for everyone. So if you pray it can enhance that. If you are a faith person it can enhance that.  If your a scientific then you’ll enjoy it – because its a subjective journey, the practices will simply give you that space in the mind  you were looking for.

Q:  What do you think of Atheism?

A:  Stay open to change and mental enquiry – meditation is a tool that provides us with the gift of internal investigation – through understanding our mind and its functions we can start to appreciate the way in which our world has come about. This can be a subjective experience arising from our insight not through information we have been told by others is correct.

Q:  Are you anti anything

A:  Closed minds

Q:  What if I don’t like Star Wars, will that affect my meditation?

A:  Ha ha ! Although its incredibly useful to have access to a light sabre you should be fine.

Q:  Does unhealthy food affect my meditations!

A:  Of course a good diet is helpful if you want to have successful meditations, however don’t worry too much about your diet to start with.

Q:  Does meditation help to reduce allergies?

A:  Yes there are meditations that help you overcome allergies, mainly by addressing the issue at the root from within the mind, meditation works directly with the mind which is where the root of physical issues are.Contact us.

Q:  I tried TM Meditation some years ago is this anything like that and will I be given a mantra

A:  The meditation practice here is not related to TM meditation. There will be no mantra given. It is not necessary to recite a mantra to meditate effectively. This is just a particular style of meditation.

Q:  Can you attain deep experience of meditation working 9-5pm living the suburban life?
